Pineapple & Art ! They just go together!

This year's annual community art show was a complete success! Spawning into a successful weekend with the Black Boy Art Show. It started with affirmation and manifesting right under the tree of the magical tunnel.

As always I experienced the very manifestations I written! We gave the show two days this year instead of three from 1-7pm. It was outstanding to be welcomed back by community and passer bys, seeing familiar faces and dogs and customers, and being thanked for displaying my art.

Seeing people stop by my art of all ages, point, or pull their phones out means a lot and warms my heart. This year the "pineapple guy" who sales handmade health drinks just outside the tunnel purchased his first pieces and hood trophy. His purchase alone made the show bring in $390 , just enough for the black boy art show final fees. With last minute the art show let me in. But get this, I asked the owner of fanay, Jata, for a ride to the black boy art show and the rest you will have to find out in the next newsletter!! This show was a reminder that money is a tool, art shouldn't be about hoping you make money or loads of it. It should move people and represent the many things and people's and values memories etc that inspire and shape us. Relationships and familiar faces are wealth. Helping others and receiving help is wealth. And as always, the point, is a jewel of the world where things like money race and gun violence and police brutality don't exist.
