Juneteenth Art Collection
Hope everyone summer is off to a great start! Sharing some golden memories from The PoinT with some art expression and a few pieces dedicated to Juneteenth. I have learnt a lot from sharing my art at the tunnel in Hyde Park Chicago. I learnt good peop still exist. I learnt opportunity have to be met with proper preparing . I learnt hard work pays off and goes noticed. I learnt community always has a solution. I learnt humility from homelessness and value in receiving help. I learnt to don’t give up because I don’t want the people who help me to ever feel their help is in vain. I learnt my art is truly valued and needed and brings something good to people. I learnt selling art is only easy at the point lol and converting to more traditional sales is the hardest path I’ve embarked on. I learnt not to put financial strain on relationships and that right around the corner of giving up is your desired blessing. I also learnt the power of God and the ancestors and forces of nature and the favor that comes with prayer and sacrifice. This Juneteenth spent alone with my dog in my home a new beginning honoring our ancestors for our home and the ability to celebrate in a home.
